Why is it that only about 14 officers assigned to "traffic unit" have access to tens of thousands of dollars of overtime, but no one else is.....the average LMPD officer has made $30,000 or less this year......and one traffic officer is at $50,000 and it's only july4th. several traffic officers are already at in the mid to upper 40's.... Why are not more officers allowed to work DUI, speed enforcement overtime..... make no sense that six officer can each make between $25,000 and $40,000 in overtime
