I wish that officer was around when many years ago, Richard Brinkley left the Colonial Inn and hit Patrick Smith head on on 1-265 at Stonestreet - immediately killing him. He only had a point .14 on the blood test, too. Whoever locked him up - good job. Not wishing Sgt. Wheeler any harm, but I doubt this was the first time he'd driven drunk, and they might have saved him from something far worse. If this gets his attention and stops the irresponsible behavior, more power to them.
