depends on how much off duty I do in the county along with the amount they take for just working for LMPD. I am not compairing what I pay in the sinking fund to what you pay in county taxes as I also pay county taxes where I live then pay in louisville for working there. You make it sound as if there is a specific tax or part of a tax that you pay for the take home car program. If that is so please tell us where it is on the tax code and what percentage it is. If not don't try to make youself a martar because you want to live inside the county for the perk of the car. Those of us who moved our also made our move because what was best for us or our family. Once again, IF I need the car for an off duty job I will pay the amount that is agreed upon. If you want to use it you need to pay for it otherwise enjoy the perk of the take home car for FREE. No tax money goes towards it other than normal taxes for the LMPD annual budget.
