great post. They tend to forget how those of us who are out of county / state paid the fees and gained nothing from it when this started. The money we paid went and paid for the gas we used while on duty as we did not drive any other time. Did we complain? NO, we went along with the request to stick together on this and we will come out better then we were. Well we did stick together and pay now all we are asking is to vote yes as this will have the same effect on everyone. If you use the car for off duty you pay for it otherwise there is no cost to take it home. For those of you who feel it is a bad deal, figure out how much it cost to drive you pov to and from work and off duty. Do you really think it is less than 50 bucks a month?
