Putting up IP's is a good way to get people hacked and would be intended primarily to stifle free speech. If the owner of the website doesn't have a problem with the posting of legal free speech, then why should you? I think some people would be more comfortable living somewhere like Red China where everyone obeys and shuts up. Being born an American doesn't make you a good American.

Or be they trolls who want peoples ip address to harass them. A private, invitation only section for officers and family only would be better. Perhaps even a private facebook page.
