Jadlou, It is obvious you only got your infromation from the news media, they are the only ones that have even attempted to portray Detectives Adams side of things. To say that Adams stance has been "I'm a cop and I will do what I want" is conjecture and tripe (nother word for shite), unless of course he told you these things in his own words.
