Officer Adams has never made a public statement on this. You have no idea his thought process or attitude on this. His lawyer,Steve Shoreing, took the high road and made a statement offering his condolences.

Jadlou,

It is obvious you only got your infromation from the news media, they are the only ones that have even attempted to portray Detectives Adams side of things. To say that Adams stance has been "I'm a cop and I will do what I want" is conjecture and tripe (nother word for shite), unless of course he told you these things in his own words. You see, he hasn't spoken publicly about the incident that I am sure has affected him profoundly. The "witnessess" didn't witness anything, they don't know what happended, they may have heard the collision happen, at best, but the only two witnessess were Adams and Bearden. The witnesses, good as they portrayed themselves to be, didn't even know that Adams had made a phone call to have someone else call 9-1-1 and the fact that he got on his departmental, hand held radio to call in the accident, fantastic witnesses!!!! I have never heard Adams get on the News Channel to give his side of the the drunk driving incident caused by Bearden. The stroy given, even by the families two new attorneys has been one sided at best. How can a five foot something female, weighing 100 and something pounds, consume "a couple glasses of wine," in front of family and friends no less, and then blow a .131? I'll tell you how, she can't!!!!! She was drinking excessively before the accident and then was allowed to leave, by family and friends, to who knows where she was planning on going. Possibly to the next party. Since you seem to have so many answers, riddle me this, what in the hell was her family and freinds thinking when the let her get behind the wheel in that state (.131 blood alcohol level) that she was in? Was their thoughts narcisstic in nature when they thought it was ok to let her drive off, in the shape she was in, roll the dice with her life and anyone else she was bound to cross paths with on that fateful night? No, I am sure it wasn't, I don't know any better what they were thinking than you possibly could of Adams mind set throught any of this. Bottom line, everyone who was at that party failed her and failed Adams, lets point fingers at that group of family and friends, if you are ready to start pointing fingers at people. They all failed her that day/night, and they alone. It must be weighing on them heavily, I guess I would need someone else to blame too.
