To the last commentor, I fail to see your point about police officers who keep their job after a DUI. I don't know too many people in the private sector who have lost their job for a DUI. Now, take John Boyle, the news anchor from WLKY 32, he in fact did lose his job, but only after his 2nd or 3rd DUI and showing a continual pattern of alcohol abuse and not doing a thing to change or alter his pattern of abusive behavior. He would be an exception to the private sector folks losing a job over the DUI. Again, not his first and I don't know too many folks who do lose a job over their first DUI. Now if my main function at work was the operation of vehicles, I could see a DUI being detramental, but again, not a common thing to lose a job after a DUI. In your post you seem to state that the only people who are able to keep their jobs after a DUI are the police, I disagree unless you can enlighten me further.
