I agree with your statement, and yes when a black officer is promoted that seems to be thrown around.

But the payback mentality bothers me. Who ya gonna "pay back" is my concern.

I don't give a crap what color the person is that I work for. However, I do want to work for the most QUALIFIED person in that position... the color of your skin does not make you qualified. That's the problem I see with the current list of promotions. The most QUALIFIED were NOT promoted because of their skin color... that's just wrong.

I see, you are speaking of when the Police Department actually worked and fought crime as opposed to what it has become using the NOBLE (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives) method to model much of our policies. Yes, we have done sooooo well!! HA HA HA! What a joke LMPD has become, hopefully the GOP will be back and make Louisville and LMPD a safe and just place to live and work in again.
