Kentucky high court refuses to hear Louisville's appeal in firefighter backpay case

Kelly Downard, R-16th District and co-chair of the budget committee, said he was disappointed by the ruling.

"This administration has been involved in a lawsuit with almost everyone that's worked with the city and lost almost every one," Downard said.

Fischer has promised not to litigate everything like the Moron for Life did. If the statement he made is true then I really would like my $1,410.00 stolen from me by King Jerry back please. Be graceful about it and timely and i won't demand interest. Pull an"Abramson" and you see the final result.

The CJ has reported how bad the economy is in Louisville with a front page article everyday this week. How many jobs have left this city because of a tax base that's killing everyone on of the highest in the nation. Why wasn't these articles printed years ago when his supreme being Jer was letting businesses leave this city at the drop of a hat. B&W, Phllip Morris and many others which he could have cared less about. Now you want to honor this fool by naming the airport after him. I figure if he gets into Frankfort he'll destroy KY the same way as Louisville. KY will become a state of parks and bicycle paths and be broker than it is now . If this idiot can't run this city why would you want him to be Lt. governor.

I am so glad that smarmy little weasel Chad Carlton will no longer be a spokesman for Metro Government. His creepy little pedo mustache and snide little comments turn my stomach.

Chad Carlton, a spokesman for Abramson, said: "It's disingenuous for a lawyer who wants to make millions of dollars off taxpayers to say they're interested in saving taxpayer dollars. This issue should have been settled like the other firefighter's case, but their lawyer just walked away from the table."

You pompous ***! None of this would have ever taken place had your lord and master not litigated this and stalled it in court for years. We have not forgotten that you and your cronies were behind all the lies and deception of the Abramson administration nor that you kept perpetuating those lies in the media all the while the bill, that yes the taxpayers must pay for because of Abramson's arrogance kept getting bigger.

Did they walk away from the table or did you forget that Abramson would not bargain in good faith and that after 15 years of stonewalling and litigation of which Abramson lost every round you all still continue to try and put the blame on someone else.

Downard was right. Abramson has screwed and filed suit against almost every employee in Metro Government and continually lost. Not a very good track record for a supposed high power attorney.

Pay them their money and quit whining little Chad. Go trotting like the little dog that you are at your masters heels as we all hapily bid him farewell.

I am astounded that anyone would contemplate naming anything in honor of Abramson. He brought this community to the brink of disaster with his high handed spending an oh so shady business dealings. The repercussions of his malfeasance will be felt for decades to come.
