how about life flight? thats a bunch of b.s. that not everyone gets those!!!!!!LOL.... also as citizens and officers have stated many folks have been "escorted" to the hospital by the police, matter of fact when ems is short or really busy police cars have taken what you call ordinary citizens to the hospital so i can't get any more bluer in the face that this argument is meaningless, it doesnt hold water there is no double standard here. and as far as dangerous jobs i will state it again we are out looking for the bad guys thus the potential for injury or death, any job has risks i never said my job was more dangerous then lets say shark bite suit tester. but we are out protecting folks from the people out there trying to hurt them. as far as your old argument that we are all above traffic tickets.....YAWN....this one has been beaten down time and time again but you continue to bring it up, like its always happening and everyone is doing it. what about the folks every day that speed, everyday the same people they are breaking the law is everyone of them held accountable? do all citizens speed because i've been passed by a speeding citizen? NOPE, because I know better. have people ever had a ticket "fixed" whats that all about corruption? Nope, police are people too and know that poop happens. what about speeders that are late to work, med emergency, etc. when they get stopped are they always ticketed? no many breaks are given is that right? ask the mother whose child was killed by a speeding person. either way someone's going to be upset. if you wanna do statistics more people are killed in crashes then drive-bys. should we concentrate more on traffic violations then gun toters? i would say no because lots of folks think speeding is an acceptable crime where as drive-bys are not, does that make sense? i am kinda rambling but trying to make a point.

I'll say it. We are the POLICE and we will block the streets when ever we D A M N well feel like. You can say we are above the law or I am an arrogant jerk with a badge that got beat up in high school, but we will still blocking every F U C KIng street in the city if we have to get a brother or sister in blue, Firefighter, EMS or a little child shot in the head....
