The Speaks family has publicly thanked everyone that helped Officer Speaks, you are all truly heros for helping to get this young man to the hospital and saved his life, he was laying his life on the line for us and almost lost it. God Bless each and everyone of you!

I won't need to "deal with it" as I do not ignore the wrongs in society, pretend an issue isn't an issue, nor let people be abused. I never questioned the arguments you make, not that I buy into them, but did question your motivation for your continued rage. You do not know me personally nor my motivation for policing. I have no issue of needing the world to acknowledge my wisdom. I only present a medical/mental health opinion based in education, research, and experience for consideration.

Nothing about my self worth or my professionalism is linked to your rage or your opinions. You do not need to feel attacked, just aided. How many times have I been verbally accosted while trying to transport someone mentally ill to the psychiatric hospital I may never know. It comes with the service aspect of my profession. Although not exhaustive, that is only one of my motivations for policing - service. It is never personal from my perspective. I am not above anyone, not above the law, nor willing to be placed on the heroes pedestal.

Alas, denial will extend your pain a while longer. For your sake, I certainly hope that you will better consider my earlier remarks and seek assistance. (Anosognosia is the term for a lack of personal insight about a disorder/mental illness and the associated lack of cooperation needed for recovery...for those who may like to look into it.)
