Metro Police officer in surgery after being shot

You remember it as a 'few incidents', what I see is EVERY incident involving those they deem 'worthy'. I remember a cop with nothing more than a broken arm, closed interstates, police escort. I remember an EMT who had commited a CRIME, but still given a closed roadways escort to the hospital.

When is the last time a citizen with only a broken arm or a criminal was given a closed road escort to the hospital.

Coworkers following an ambulance isnt even remotely the same thing. cops are rushing behind an ambulance, they are giving preferential treatment to their own, based ONLY on the uniform worn, and not the severity of the injury.

I completely disagree that its just visible attention, its not at all the same thing. respectfully.
