You know guys it boils down to this. The only thing that merger did was destroy two great dept.'s. I have over 20 years on and plan on retiring by the end of the year, I came from the county side but transfered in from the City of Prospect. When I transfered in it was the thing to do, but now if you talk to any officers on the "Professional" small city dept's they laugh at us and would not take a million dollars to work for the LMPD.
