LOL, yea i agree....... Since the Dept----Thanks to Major Burbrink in Training dont allow officer's to go in and shoot---as WE use to, now you just go in and qualify, and that's it. It would be nice to be able to go in and fire off a hundred rounds or so to stay in practice. We are suppose to qualify with duty ammo anyway, not the cheap, dirty ammo that they provide. That dirty ammo jams my gun up everytime, and my gun is nasty to clean. And if you want to go to the range and fire off a few rounds, you have to buy your own ammo, and it has to led free ammo---the dirty ammo. I refuse to pay for that ammo to stay sharp on my marksmanship. I dont make a Majors pay, and i have a family to support and bills to pay on a officer's salary and i cant afford to buy that ammo, much less have to pay to go to an indoor range. Burbrink needs to go somewhere else besides training, When they get promoted they always forget where they came from. And of course Burbrink and the others in training can go to the range and fire off as many rounds as they want!!!!!!!!!!! but the officer's on the beat cannot do that. It wouldnt surprise me if alot of members on this dept go in and fail firearms, all you get is a few day's off with pay, and it is non-disiplinary,heck i can use a few extra days off, with the failure rate this dept has you would think something would change in training.
