Sure, in Lexington, but were you in Somerset, Olive Hill, etc.? The folks I saw in Olive Hill were on the clock, and I didn't see anyone in Somerset. Do you show up at the statewide memorial? Nope, the rank and file don't, you weren't even there when Grignon was added, and you sure weren't there when Coy was added. Did you even KNOW about Coy being added? (Coy was a "forgotten" name - died LODD in Feb, 1937 from a motorcycle wreck in the fall of 1936. Winstead-Wilfong was there to accept the flag for him, but I saw only a couple of LMPD folks who were there for other reasons and just came over for the ceremony. Biggest agency in the state and I can count on one hand the number that show up for the statewide memorial - sheesh!)
