Who exactly are you responding to...You didn't sign your name so I can"t see you in Dist Court, and I do have a detective Job, but you would be suprised just how much I do get out and make runs on a daily basis!

Statements like this is what makes legislators want to amend the law to require officers to live in the jurisdiction they police - remember, in most cities that is already the case. Remember, Jerry won't be the major in six months, then what? Cops are making less and less, but so is every other government employee, between furloughs and extending hours for the same pay. At least you have the ability to make more money, between court pay and off-duty - did you know other city employees are often denied permission to work extra jobs - on the pretense that it might interfere with their regular job?

If all LMPD cops were known for their work ethic maybe this wouldn't be a crime ridden dump.
I see no reason to stand up for LMPD because you say you do your job.
Obviously, you are not a typical cop, if you really do your job.
According to Chief White, Charles Moore is typical.
