the "teflon don" will slide out of this one looking good. Nothing sticks to him and he knows it. But he is the poster child for the basketball game every year. What a great officer for the rest of the department to look up to. I know, maybe they need to put him in training and conduct a class on how to get away with lying and other violations.

Members of this department continue to disgrace themselves. Actions like this and Hollingsworth ***** the reputations of us all. What do they have on RCW? I just hope that November brings new leadership from the top down.

I've had two dealings with this guy one of which was during a pursuit where he was forcing other officers into oncoming traffic lanes because he was driving like an idiot. The other was during inservice where he talked on his phone nonstop during class and pulled his fat wad of cash out of his pocket and counted through it over and over.

Gotta say that is a nice photo of him. Wonder why he is violating dept SOP on the wearing of earrings in it? That is if it is his department photo. But we will overlook that one too.

This situation a fine example of why Chief Robert White needs to be removed from office by either one of the new mayoral candidates. It is quite obvious that his defense of the union protecting the officer is smoke and mirrors for a lack of backbone. I challenge the candidates to see this as a CALL for change in LMPDs Chief of Police.

With such a tight Mayor's race, Fischer's decision to keep White may end up costing him the election. Everyone on the department who wants White gone needs to be telling the world what's happening. People need to know how poorly the department is being run.

Well I have to say a few things. #1 Randy Moore has been given special treatment, when he was in the 4th division under then Major David Ray he NEVER, and i STRESS NEVER showed up for ROLL CALL. He never had too as the rest of us did, he would just go to his beat and wait to be dispatched for calls on his beat. Which i never understood that, if other officers were sitting at the roll call table then why was he so special that he did not have to????????? As far as Kevin Mckinney saying what he said in his interview-------Kevin with the highlights in his hair probably wants Randy all two himself and this was a way to get his attention. Kevin make sure you sign Randys cov not to sue form..... I hear it's gonna hurt. They need to focus on Jackie Hollingswort AKA---Jthug, and Hollingsworthless. My point is the more you do the more your in the spotlight, so just do nothing and draw your pay and get your retirement, this place is not going to get any better anytime soon!

national night out

August 4th, 2010 @ 6:11AM (14 years ago)

Off the subject of Randy but on the subject of the chief. I find it real interesting that the air unit is grounded a lot of the time and is under strict rules on when it can fly but it was flying around the different divisions for National Night out. Came by the 2nd, did some circles with its siren on and left. A show for the public but screw the officers on their safety.

Biggest Looser

August 4th, 2010 @ 4:40PM (14 years ago)

I had to laugh today when I heard a certain special ops major had his name come up to go and try out for the Biggest Looser. Not sure if they were talking about his weight or just his personality.

And we wonder why the department gets the rep it does! Our department lets criminals and liers and cheats stay on the department!!

And how does all the things you say affect the rep of the Department? Most people in the general public know there are going to be bad apples in any organization. You need to stop worrying about the department as a whole and focus on yourself. People in Louisville still have a very positive perception of the police department so stop acting like there is all this public outrage over these isolated incidents. Everybody knows the Courier Journal story on Moore was an indictment on Chief White. The CJ or no one else could care less about Moore's juvenile antics. It was published to play on white fear that a black chief will "take care of" black officers. Why else would they put so much emphasis on Moore saying he would make a racial situation when there was none? That is the quickest way to get white people outraged and guess what, it may be very effective. Now, please catch up to your Tea Party clan and stop pouting.

Do you all like each other or not? You seem to type gripe at each other alot. I support LMPD completely but I don't know what to think about you since you can't even get along with yourselves. If you want our (the general public's) support then maybe you all should support each other. Or as an alternative, maybe you shouldn't have this webpage available to the general public. Don't get me wrong, I read this everyday and I make the calls to our leaders about the important issues - but maybe it would be better for yourselves if you kept this to your members only. A team is only as good as it's members. If they want to cause your demise all they have to do is come between you, and turn one against the other. It's starting to sound like they have suceeded. You need to stick together, the public bashing of each other is not good for your cause. Ms. Citizen

Oh and please don't rip my a**, just giving a suggestion.

Family

August 5th, 2010 @ 10:12PM (14 years ago)

I was recently informed I made the Hall of Shame. I accept these shots as a compliment.

Biggest Loser-never watched the show, but can understand why you think I would be a good candidate (I had a good laugh about that one). Yes, I am horizontally challenged. I'm working on it. Give a brother a break. I will be back to my Denzel size in no time.

My work experience- do your homework, don't listen to my past partners/critics, look me up in Courtnet, Kenton Buckner code # 2913. Let me know what you find?

Difficult to work with? Only If you are lazy or find it difficult to follow reasonable request.

Family- someone will always have issues with whoever is Chief, but when did we start publicly attacking each other?

I am still a proud member of this agency, but I am disappointed in how we have not stuck together.

There are several people I don't think very highly of, but I would never blast a fellow officer via public air waves. For the first time in my career, I am looking forward to retiring (feb 2014 for wishful thinkers), not because of the job, but because our family is broken.

Yours truly, Kenton T. Buckner (the T stands for triathlon)

Ansman, please shut this site down...it is out of hand. Please do what is right for the LMPD and community who reads this defamatory slander.

Legally, is it slander if it has the basis of truth?

After all slander is defined as words falsely spoken that damage the reputation of another or an abusive attack on a person's character or good name that has no basis in truth.

SO if it is slanderous, it has to be false? So if the truth has been written, and it hurts, then I guess you who scream slander need to read your own histories.

How 'bout them apples.
