An APD officer was attacked and shot 5 times on his way home from work last night. He was stil in uniform, but in his personal vehicle, no take home cars. Since he had no take home car, he had no radio to call for help during the gun battle, no extra equipment from his car etc. Fornutely he was still wearing his vest, or he would be dead. This happened at Lee St and Oak St, Zone 4, Beat 1. I worked Zone 4 while in Atlanta and that area is famous for violence and drugs. I am shocked, but a citizen
