You get the judges and prosecutors you elect. It's a dual problem. If judges hand down bad rulings, and the prosecutor refuses to appeal it, then they are both part of the problem. How about endorsing, horror of horrors, the REPUBLICAN candidate for once? Get some new blood in the prosecutors office and have them start appealing some of these District Ct decisions that are clearly against state case law, and the judges will take notice.
