Ah, the age old argument that is so funny, old testament god is all angry and vengeful then god gets laid, and new testament god is all happy and peaceful huh? Maybe you should reread your bible.

"I say to you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. As for my enemies who do not want me to reign over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence" (Luke 19:26-27).

"Do not think that I have come to send peace on Earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword. I am sent to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law" (Matthew 10:34-35).

There is also a favorite of mine, matthew 5:17 in which jesus tells that he upholds the rules of the old testament.

"Paul claims that God killed 23,000 in a plague for "committing whoredom with the daughters of Moab" 1 corinthians 10:8

"The Israelites kept the passover and sprinkled blood on doorposts so that God wouldn't kill their firstborn children (like he did the Egyptians in Exodus 12:29)" Hebrews 11:28

Need me to keep going? There is really an abundance of violence that you say doesnt exist.

I would leave you with one question, exactly where in the bible does the old testament get dismissed in favor of the new testament, because I can list several examples where is says the old testament is still to be upheld.
