Unless you spend most of your shift keyed up with a stuck mic (or have verbal diarrhea and can't shut up) you have nothing to worry about in respect to the antenna and different types of radiation from it. That antenna is only emitting minute radiation when transmitting. The recieving throughout the shift poses no threat to you - these signals are in the air whether you had your radio with you or not.
