I may just be a worry-wort, but I wonder about the brain cancer risk involved in these new radios. The mandatory hand mikes put the transmitting antenna right beside your head. I know we already use our handhelds near our head but the antenna is pointed away, and we only used them part-time, outside of the car. Does anybody know anything about wattage output of these new radios, and risk factors? I don't know much about radio propagation, but I have some reservations about having the antenna inches
