I have read many of these post and chose to bit my tongue. Finally I read something that made sense and another that angered me. First , I am a veteran officer. I REMEMBER what it was like pre-merger. I remember the city issues and the county's issues. I also know that instead of taking the best of both former departments, we have a combination of past bad practices in play. Our policy is getting worse by the day (city style) and our leadership has become paper (accountability) driven (county style).
