Fire union endorses Fischer

Imagine that a union backing a Democrat. Gee that never happens.

It's commendable, but I am sorry we should all take a deep breath and wait until the primaries are over before making any kind of endorsement. Nothing against Mr. Fischer, but there are too many variables in this Derby Field of candidates right now.

That's the problem now, all these unions endorsing a candidate, regardless if a union endorses a candidate that dont mean everyone in that union is voteing for the candidate. Same with the FOP they are alway's sticking their nose in politics, when they need to stay out of it, and stick to doing their job. That's why we get hammered now!!!!

The FOP does not need to be in the Louisville political endorsement business for all the aforementioned reasons. They should pick some issues that are important to them such as health insurance, take-home cars, or whatever. Invite the candidates out to a meeting along with select members of the media. Ask the candidates to state where they stand on these particular issues. The media's job would be to put out to the public where each candidate stands on issues near & dear to the police. In the unlikely event that a candidate does something contrary to their stance once they are elected then the media will have it "on record" to hold their feet to the fire, so to speak. I'm just saying...

Hey there hose draggers, did you see the mayoral debate on tv. Your boy Fischer, took time out to give a big thanks for the courage and leadership of Mayor Jerry!

Don't worry boys just make sure when he Fischer says he is behind you all the way he doesn't ahve both hands on you shoulders.

When will you guys ever learn..............DEMOCRATS screw union members!
