I don't know where your travels might take you but I've been all over the country and not once, has anyone asked if I packed my klan robes or if I brought a rebel flag. I think you might be over playing your hand a bit. You might also want to settle down with the "protect and serve" nonsense. It sound to me like you might have drank a little too much of the kool-aid that Dennis was serving you when you were in the academy last week.

Really dude? I mean, c'mon, really? First of all, you can't spell. Now that I've got the petty sh** out of the way, I must say I agree with the other poster that replied to you. Never once have I been asked that kind of question when I've said I'm from Louisville, KY. Once many years ago, someone asked me if I liked Kentucky Fried Chicken and if it tasted better here but that's about all anybody has ever said to me. Next let's move on to this "protect and serve" business. I call bullsh**. Why did you become a cop? You don't have to answer here. Answer truthfully to yourself. Because I'd be willing to bet the uniform, guns, fast car, lights and sirens, power trip, badge bunnies, perks, job security, diversity and a slew of other factors would be included in your answer if you were really honest. I'm not saying some people don't become cops to work in their communities and do a greater good, but let's be honest with ourselves here. That's not the main reason for even 50% of the cops on the street. And really, there's nothing wrong with that. People go into all kinds of professions for all kinds of reasons. As long as they do their job and do it right, I couldn't care less what motivates them. But quit preachin' your BS unless your out there doing God's work day in and day out and volunteering at the soup kitchen on your holidays and serving every citizen that crosses your path with a grateful heart and no b**chin. I'd be willing to bet you can't claim that though.

And as for being held to a higher standard, no thanks. We, as HUMAN BEINGS, not cops, should hold OURSELVES to higher standards. I don't care if you work at McDonald's or you're a superior court judge, you should do your due diligence in making sure you don't turn out a complete a-hole or d-bag nobody wants to even be in the same room with.

"nice racist comment"

Very nice, just to let you know, I am black. And that was a humorous poke at an less known truth.

Get over yourself.
