Riggs selected for Texas police chief post

i thought all of the 8th division officers were slugs, i had no idea only a couple of them were. if they had highly motivated police like you out in the 8th there probably wouldnt be any crime at all. then the officers out there wouldnt have to hide in the thorntons to avoid police work.

Speaking of "slugs" since you brought up the term. Why do they seperate certain slugs to yell at, and other slugs to promote? What quality as a slug do you need to have to be picked for a specialty unit?

Were you aware of who was picked for the 8th Divisions so-called flex unit or district detective spots? A couple of slugs that never even had simple arrests outside of being a PTO. And why are officers given PTO status with 5 years on and no major case files under their belt? Anyway, how do you get to go to specialty unit when in 6 or 7 years you never completed a case file, been to the Grand Jury, or even attended a trial? How can you even train a new guy the right way when you dont know where the Grand Jury office is or how to seek a direct indictment?

OMGosh have you tried the sausage and french toast tornados? Delicious, the only draw back is waiting on them to cook, but usually they're done in 2 hours or so....
