Riggs selected for Texas police chief post

hELLO NEWS,

I am dead serious. We would enforce parking violations and noise complaints every night that place was open in the begining. The security and Mr. Cole began to complain to the major and chief that they were being harrassed. Due to that we were intitially told in roll call that we were not allowed to go to the club or enforce anything having to do with the club until we actually had a call there. Apparently that was not enough because he kept complaining, so the word came down that now we are not allowed to drive down Ky past the club unless we get a run to the club. I am not kidding. It came down through word of mouth. I don't think he is stupid enough to put that in writting. We all said something to the effect, "until I see a memo" but is it worth the b/s? I don't think so. I wasn't kidding about Mr. Cole bowling with the chief, he actually does. I also wasn't kidding about Hollingsworth working the club and complaining that officers are stepping on the security's toes. Shocks me that you guys find this so far fetched in this department.
