The arrogance of the man?

The sad part velcro is that you cannot run for an elected position if you are on the police department. That means you would have to resign in order to run, but alas the crack heads that you protect would be without your guidance and counsel.

Which is is? Those two statements make no sense run together. Of course there ARE receipts, you don't go to Home Depot and buy drywall without a receipt, let alone a major supplier, and they would need them for their CPA to do their taxes. They just don't want to produce them, and that tells me they didn't spend nearly that much and don't want to admit it.
