My dh gave up his car because we live outside the county. Honestly we are glad the mayor lost on this one and the FOP won (great job by the FOP by the way). However, we don't get ANY benefit from the car at all. We would rather see the cars go and health insurance kept low and a nice raise to compensate for the fact that the cars have always been a bargaining chip to keep salaries lower than they should be. So... tell me... are you willing to give up the cars in the next contract to keep other things
