You only have to write a letter if ordered to with in 8 hours of your served TOD. You guys are safe in that aspect...it will take 8 months to a year before anything comes of this. The rumor mill says you get served if you had a felony charge that got dismissed. What they didn't take into account was informants working off charges. You can go to into courtnet or subpoena tracker and pull up all of your subpoenas. Chances are alot of these "dismissed felonies" will stem from unserved subpoenas which is not the fault of the officer.
