While YOU may not have acted like the world was ending, others most definitely were. i do not blame the cops for my lot in life, I simply give credit where credit is due. As I said, youre menial labor just like I am, and truth be told, we have far more in common than we have in contrast. The difference comes when cops treat others like criminals. Ive said it before, it SHOULD be cops + society VS criminals, but all too often it is COPS vs society and criminals. We constantly hear about how people with attitudes get tickets BECAUSE of their attitudes, but what about cops with attitudes? we simply have no recourse, no authority to "teach you a lesson" with. it isnt crimnal to have an attitude, but you all simply get the option to choose not to have discretion, and we, the citizens have no recourse. Youre not voted in, we cant vote you out. We have attitude, you give us tickets, but there is no flip side of the coin.

Ill say again what you mention as the beginning of the diversion was me responding to the officer who made it sound like I was going to disneyworld instead of taking care of my kids education, as if it is clearly a choice between the two, and it isnt. Private school is simply not a reality for me and hundreds of thousands of others. The mention of the cars came in when I pointed out just what kinds of conveniences you have that allow you some extra income. Id rather focus my attention on bringing up the standards of public schools, just as I will continue to see what I see as problems withint the police department, the mayors office, my own occupation, etc. Creating an alternative isnt a means to fixing a problem.
