I have never brought up the free food issue, because it is a private company deciding something for themselves. If I dont like them doing that, then I have the right not to patronize their business.

Youre right that its easy to call people names, its much harder to make those names relevant.

I am impressed that you can label a problem with abuse of authority as a problem with authority. Not once have I abdicated anything that retaliated against authority, nor condoned anything that was remotely associated with it. I have said repeatedly that in order to enforce laws, you have to be able to follow laws. Obviously you have the shield mentality that makes you beleive that if you do it and all your fellow cops do it, then somehow its perfectly acceptable behavior. Thats tyranny, when authority sets different rules for itself, than the subjects it is in charge of.

Of course cops disagree with what I am saying. Im pointing out the fallacy of their stance. There is such a precedent of people disagreeing with being caught doing something that there was a law put into effect, called the Whistleblower Protection Act.
