I sincerley apologize for all the turmoil ,you and your family have went through regarding JCPS.To think that a teacher would allow this is insanity to me .We are supposed to be an extension of family support at home if we want the student to achieve, because trust me folks,you can pay for inaction in education now, or later on ,but eventually we all will pay a price. I also understand your frustration to some degree about using technology, such as kids being able to use calculators when taking the CATS test,this is why they now have cash registers that tell you how much change to give back,because kids are not taught to use their best computer their brain.I have on the other hand seen some wonderful computer programs in literacey, and other genres,but I understand were your basic frustration lies.I to know there is much to be done but, I am thankful that you were at least involved that much with your childrens education, because believe me it is not always the case.Thanks for the insight,and I hope this helps a little.
