The reason why there was a chase is because that was an off duty officer, yes. VERY seldom the police are around when that takes place. Security guards do not pursue people, thats what the police do. So you see, it was not because it was just because he assaulted and off duty officer, but because the officer "could" pursue him. I have a feeling your not getting this.

There is ONE focus point here, he assaulted an OFF DUTY COP, and then this simple shoplifting turned into a multi state chase, as opposed to the countless other incidents in which a criminal assaults a security guard and runs, without benefit of a massive manhunt. It really is that simple.

Also for your information, I wrote several letters of support of you all in the desmond rudolph case, and some of the others that occurred around that same time. It isnt the shooting that I am pointing out, it is merely another example of how you all deem yourselves more worthy than society.
