You can bet he will not allocate any of the $200 million stimulus money shoring up essential services. He spoke at his state of the city address that monies will go to greener parks, bigger parks, his pet downtown develpoment group. I would venture a strong guess that Cordish will see some money, after all he has already given millons for these projects already. He will continue making up shortages by having police pay for the cars, defere paying state incentive to LFR and running short in ems and corrections. Chris Theineman's point was on track. Most of our response's to this mayor is based on emotion which in the public eye is short lived and soon forgotten. Somehow we need to get ahead of the game, and be proactive including many parties in our goal. We need to have information that will allow us to have the answers to the mayors moves before he actually makes them. This would buy in from the public a lot easier, bottom line we all need to be proactive and not reactive. This city belong's to the citizens of louisville not "KING JERRY" He willmake an announcment in Sept. or Aug. concerning his bid for re-election now is the time to educate and enlighten the public.
