Ironically I was picking my son up from school and as I passed the traffic guard I waved as always. I was turning on hte interstate when I heard the news and my heart just sank. I have always considered LMPD crossing guards as part of our family. I prau for her and her family and for the driver involved in this most unfortunate accident.
