RE: Officers given 7 days to decide on take home cars
I find it very hard to believe the council has not received e-mails, like the FOP e-mail said. I know dozens and dozens and dozens of Police, Fire, EMS, Corrections, Civillians and so on that have e-mailed the Mayor and Council. The Council is just weak and don't want to take a Stand!

RE: Officers given 7 days to decide on take home cars
I have read most of these comments concerning the take home car privledge, and yes that is what it is a privledge not a guaranteed benefit. My nephew lives on Nature Trail in spencer county and one of your officers lives down the street and drives their car out there every day. You can say this does'nt happen but I know it does, so how does this benefit the taxpayers of metro Louisville. Most of the people I work with feel the mayor should just park everyone of them and then we would see how fast you quit whinning about the fee
