Police Officers given new list of ultimatums

I don't believe they want us to keep the cars. They simply want us to be the ones to end the program so they can then blame us to the public when crime goes up by saying "well, it is the officers decision to not keep their cars and provide the visible presence." Yes I know they both say the presence isn't a big deal but I guarantee that will be the argument later. They don't want to be the ones seen by the public as ending this valuable service to the public, they want to be able to blame us. For any who decide to pay the 100-160, you will be asked to pay more later until everyone eventually says enough and then again, they can say we ended it, not them.
