Your wrong about the pm's, maintenance will go up. Yes, there will be fewer cars but the maintenance cost on a hot car is outrageous! Good point on the gas though, I guess we will just have to make sure to drive them a whole lot more when we are working to make up for the gas not being used off duty.

When the cars are parked and the cars that are left are driven 24 hours a day BECAUSE they sold a bunch of the cars ....then the costs will be outrageous......the public needs to know this plan. The cars won't last any time and the pms will be often...very often because the miles will click up, up, up! Then he has to start buying more and more new cars.........they won't be taken care of because there is no more ownership.........I can hear it now.........the next officer can take care of that problem...........RIGHT..........the public needs to know the sneaky plans he has!!!!! This will cost the tax payers. I am so glad I can retire soon!
