Are you under the impression that we do NOT pay for insurance (yes, we do, on both these cars and the personal vehicles most of us own.) It comes down to this - if an officer CHOOSES not to take a city benefit, why is this suddenly a terrible, bad thing? I choose not to take the car, and all that goes with it, it's my CHOICE.
