Case dropped against Jefferson County coroner

Uhhh, that was one of the allegations - that he ordered his deputy coroners to seize ALL of a deceased's medication and turn it in to him - and he wasn't, apparently, keeping proper track of it. Someone mentioned that he kept it in a desk drawer. Not to mention that unless the medication is directly involved in the death, it is not his job to take it. For example, I fall down the steps at my house and break my neck - what gives the coroner the right to come in and seize the hydrocodone I have in my medicine cabinet from dental surgery two months before?

Note that there has never been any indication that they actually showed these allegations were wrong.

So, what is Handy doing now, anyone know?
