It is ridiculous that our police department is constantly being tried in the media long before the true facts are known. Even once the true facts are known these are rarely made known to the public as to not tarnish the image of the "victim" while the image of the police officer forever remains tarnished. Is this the way to show respect and loyalty to the men and women who put their lives in danger every do to protect us? No wonder so many of today's youth have total disregard for police officers
