3rd District Congressman goes head to head with Stephen Colbert

Because Louisville is a joke...We want to build new bridges when we can't paint the one we already have. We want to build a new high rise condo when other high rise condos sit empty in downtown. We want to build a new museum when private donations have to be sent to the Ali Center to keep it a float. The metro council wants to spend millions to make their chamber "pretty" while firefighter sleep in buildings that should be condemed and the police hq is full of raw sewage falling throught the ceiling on a regular basis. They mayor gives away money for various causes yet tells the command of the police dept. that you will never get a raise and refuses to pay the firfighters the overtime monies that they are rightfully owed. But at least 4th Street Live is going well....oh sorry three bars are moving out because they can't make enough to pay their rent but at least there is a couple of new wig stores. Loserville is going the way of so many other poorly led cities...see ya soon Detroit.

Because Northup became stale and stopped thinking for herself; she basically voted along the party-line with "Daddy's little war criminal" ever since he was first elected in 2000. I think voters in the 3rd Congressional District were ready for a change. I thought the Yarmuth interview was kind of refreshing, just being able to see a Congressman who seemed to have a pretty decent sence of humor; it probably took some guts just to appear on Comedy Central knowing some of the ridiculous things he'd be asked.
