You are right on the money. Jim Bourey will do it his way or no way. He talks a good talk but than turns around and does exactly what he wants. He has our city council under his thumb. I can't figure it out. Where did he come from and where else has he torn cities apart. I would love to here from the 3rd district.

How did all this bellyaching about Terri's new position wind up in a discussion about Bill Weedman? As for Bill's abilities, in early 80's Bill responded to a robbery at U.S. 60 and Juneau drive where a suspect had just exited the bank with a bag of money and dye pack that exploded. Bill bagged and tagged the suspect and recovered the money before any Adam District car arrived on the scene. He was riding Squad 41 that day. I never wore any command jewelry of bars, stars or leafs, but I did wear a long brass gold plate positioned over the right flap of the uniform shirt that was eventually replaced with a smaller royal blue bar with a red rectangle between the flanking blue fields. I paid my dues years ago and have no doubts about Weedman's abilities as a line officer. If he took his son to an event which had some significant historical significance, good for him. In Fact, bring the whole damn family next time, set them in the stands and DO YOUR JOB.Out of the 2nd Platoon of the EMS Division, there were no less than six (6) officers who went on to deputy chiefs, commanders or Supervising Agents with other agencies. Not a bad record for Police officers who supposedly come from a Support Service Division
