Lets be honest, most of us don't like when someone disagrees with our opinion. The difference is we don't have the position or the authority to do much about it. If I was in a Upper management position, I would try my best to listen to the people that worked with me, but if I was the one who was responsible for the decision, I would take your opinion into consideration, however, I would not surrender my own judgement either.
