Guess we can all quit complaining now and bend over. Jerry has pulled it out again. My only advice to Louisville is to lock your doors and get used to being victims of crime. Thanks for showing your appreciation for your public safety professionals. I'll be sure to return the favor the next time you call. I for one will be getting on the Jerry for governor campaign, we have to get rid of him some how !!!!

Now would be a good time to sell your house and move to another county, before Ford closes and the crime really starts to go up. Abramson hasn't changed since he first took office, and I don't expect any miracle revelations from a burning bush to make him competent. RCW will keep collecting that huge paycheck and doing what he's told by big daddy Jerry.

Just keep plugging away people! Does anyone know the money we dished out for those commercials?

If you all would come to the FOP meetings you might have a clue as to how much money is being spent. But no you'd rather sit around clueless with your thumbs in your a*s. This is the exact reason this department is weak because the majority wants to ***** but never wants to get involved. The FOP was alotted $28K for commercials which gave them 30 spots I believe. Well worth it since no one else was doing anything for us.

The FOP leadership eventually has to negotiate wages, so getting too involved in politics would hurt negotiations later. What should happen is a separate political action committee representing the political views of officers should be formed and run by a separate group of officers. You can collect money from anyone outside the FOP and use it to do commercials pushing for stronger law enforcement. Just give them some FOP decals for their cars or T-shirts when they contribute and then you can save the FOP dues for something else.
