The violation wasn't the pursuit. The violation was that he didn't have a cassette in his his mobile video unit.

He was fired after attempting to help another Officer in a pursuit. He slowed his car down and the tractor traile behind him slowed and the perp rear ended the tractor trailer. NOBODY else was investigated. Itshows just how vindictive and small minded this Chief is when he goes after the Officer for something stupid. The topper is ANYONE, ANY OFFICER could fall out of favor and be pursued with the same vindictive behavior. We have already seen what a sore loser the chief is. I don't disagree with all his decisions, but ones like this are total BS.
