Some Metro workers double, triple salaries with overtime

Then the FOP membership and anyone else that's interested should be showing up at Metro Council meetings and asking why the City is wasting their money. They should also be contacting their Councilmembers and letting them know they expect them to take action to stop it. Democracy doesn't work if people are only willing to aire their grievances on the internet and not where it actually matters.

The real problem is that our corrections and fire dept. are so short handed that this kind overtime is there to be worked. One would think that taxpayers would be happy that there are people willing to take on these extra hours. As far as I know if your house is on fire you would want enough fireman to show up to put it out. On the corrections side Iam pretty sure that we need a place to wearhouse scumbags and someone to watch over them. These are post that can not go unmaned. Our great mayor needs to get off his dead ******** and get these departments some more people that would cut overtime and make these places safer to work. All I can say is.... vote Kelly Downard !!!!!
