I can't believe nobody has yet to pick up on this. WHat the Mayor is propossing basically is a PAY CUT outside of the contract. Since when is that an accepted practice? If this happened at FOrd, GE or UPS they would already be locking the place up and having picket lines ot in front of the buildings. Thank God the Police can't strike, because the 16th Largest City in the United States (not America) would go to hell in a handbasket quickly without them.
